挚爱深夜的梵高,在阿尔时期曾有两件作品描绘星空<罗奴河的星月之夜>及<夜间的咖啡屋>.这两件作品中,闪烁于碧蓝夜空中的星星,格外夺人眼目.在圣雷米的初期(1889年6月)所画的这幅<星月之夜>是凡高深埋在灵魂深处的世界(宇宙进化)感受.
全幅画的色调为深蓝,幽远而深邃.有宁静平和,但无可企及.
画作的上半部是苍茫的夜空卷动的星体象旋涡,相互之间带动的效果形成涡状的云团效果,感觉生命就这样在宇宙中向前奔流.下半部是黛色的远山,以及河边点点灯火闪烁,仅有一线,淡淡地摇曳生姿.
每一颗大星,小星回旋于夜空中,新月也形成一个旋涡,星云与棱线宛如一条巨龙不停地蠕动着.暗绿褐色的柏树像一股巨形的火焰,由大地深处向上旋冒;山腰上,细长的教堂尖塔不安地伸向夜空.所有的一切似乎都在回旋,转动,烦闷,动摇.在夜空中放射艳丽的色彩...
这种回旋式的运动圆形,有如远古时代的土器形体或者装饰在土器表面的螺旋花纹.在德拉克洛瓦或巴洛克的艺术中也可以看到这种回旋的曲线和旋转的运动,但其真正的源头,恐怕还是来源于人类的潜意识之中.促成梵高产生这种原始意识的,应该是得自于农民以劳动征服大地所带给他的共鸣,再者是他对德拉克洛瓦的佩服,三者是对于日本浮世绘画家北斋和广重的构图主题的把握.
在西欧传统绘画的远近法中,画家常常从观众席来观察舞台,观察风景与人物.但是对梵高来说,在他病情尚未发作之前,已感到被另外一个世界监视着.他察觉到受苦闷,受烦恼的,不只是他本身或者如同向日葵那样的对象,而是能够把一切万物都包括进去的广大范畴---宇宙.
他在问---谁是观察者,谁又在被观察着?看着么?看到了什么?外视亦或内醒?我们何尝问过自己---生命何在心何在? |
